Set up your link
Put your profile address, dezajn.com/u/ followed by your username, in the bio of every account. Your profile shows all your products, so the one link keeps working as you add designs. For a single product, copy its link with the Share button on the product page.
Add your social accounts to your Dezajn profile too, so shoppers who find you on Dezajn can follow you.
What to post
- The idea: who the design is for, and the joke or story behind it.
- The process: a sketch becoming the final design, a screen recording of the studio, a time-lapse.
- The real thing: you or friends wearing the garment. Photos of real people sell better than mockups.
- Choices: ask followers to pick between two versions or colours, then publish the winner and tell them it is live.
- Moments: a new collection, a seasonal design, a design that just became an Arena favourite.
Platform by platform
| Platform | What works | Tip |
|---|---|---|
| Carousels of a design on different garments, Reels of the process, stories with a link sticker | Pin your best product post to the top of your profile | |
| TikTok | Short process videos, design reveals, outfit videos | Show the finished garment in the first second, then how you made it |
| Mockups and outfit photos people save for later | Pins keep sending visitors for months; describe the design in the title | |
| Communities | Reddit, Discord, forums and groups around your theme | Join as a member first, and follow each community’s rules on self-promotion |
Consistency beats going viral
A viral post is luck. Posting two or three times a week for a few months builds an audience that buys your next design as well. Batch the work: when you publish a design, prepare several posts for it at once, such as the reveal, the process and a photo of someone wearing it.
Borrow other people’s audiences
- Design for a group: a sports club, a band, a school class, a team at work. They share the link with each other.
- Collaborate with a creator whose audience fits the design, and design something for them to share.
- Gift a garment to someone whose audience would like it, and ask them to post a photo if they enjoy wearing it.
See what works
Your dashboard shows profile visits and product views day by day. It does not show which site each visitor came from, so compare your posting days with the peaks in your charts, and keep doing what moves them.
Frequently asked questions
Should I pay for ads?
Not at the start. Organic posts show you for free which designs people respond to. Once a design sells without ads, a small paid boost of a post that already works is a lower-risk experiment.
How often should I post?
As often as you can keep up for months. Two or three good posts a week beat a burst of daily posts that stops after a fortnight.
Which platform is best for selling T-shirts?
The one where the people your design is for already spend time. A design for climbers belongs in climbing communities and on Instagram; a meme design may do better on TikTok.
